Thank you for stopping at our website. The Desert Rats are a group of active racers, trail riders, and campers who promote REAL DESERT RACES! We enjoy camping in the Desert, all year long. We enjoy racing in the Desert even more. We promote at least one race per year. The races are all long mile (50mile loop), all normally use the old fashion mass start (by class), and we
take pride in usually have a “unique” start area for each event. As a club we offer members pit support at the races, good fellowship before and after the races, and an endless ability to cure whatever your bike or race problems may be. Most of us are well worn Desert Racers, and if we don’t know the answers, then it just don’t need to be fixed. We ask that you help put on the Desert Race each year, that you enjoy a good campfire and never ending stories of “how we used ta do it”. If you are looking for a club to join, come on out and visit with us at any of the local Desert Events, just look for the “RATS” flags flying, we always welcome a chance to recruit a new body!
